My Top 10 Movies

Hi, 

Today I am sharing My Top 10 Movies. I struggled to pick 10 but I am very happy with the movies I picked and they are in no particular order.

1) Sleeping Beauty 

Aurora is my favourite Princess. There is nothing I do not like about this movie.  I love this movie, I love the music, the songs, the dresses, the fairy godmothers and Aurora. 

I love Aurora's dress, I have always a wanted a dress that changes from Pink to Blue. Me and My Mum are always disagreeing about what colour her dress should be. I think Pink, My Mum thinks Blue. For my GSCE Textiles, I designed a dress based upon Aurora's. I love the scene in the forest when Flora, Fauna and Merryweather are cleaning the cabin and making the cake using their magic. Plus I also love the scene where they are fighting over what colour her dress should. 

Every time the movie is mentioned my Mum starts singing `Once upon a Dream' and I love it. It is just my favourite. 

2) Dirty Dancing

I love this movie. I remember watching it for the first time when I was 14 and I just fell in love with it. I love Baby and Johnny's storyline and Patrick Swayze. 💓 Also `The Time of my Life' song is just amazing. I love it so much, I remember dancing to it at my prom with my friends and being so happy. 

I recently watched Netflix's Making Movies Dirty Dancing Episode and it just made me fall in love with the movie again. It is so interesting to learn everything they went through to try and get the movie made. If you love Dirty Dancing I recommend watching this. 

3) Sweet Home Alabama 

Reese Witherspoon, Josh Lucas and Patrick Dempsey are so good in this movie. It is a lovely movie, heart-warming and funny. I really like it and it has my two favourite movie proposals of all time. Also Reese Witherspoon has some lovely outfits in this movie. 

4) Arthur Christmas

I love this Christmas movie. It is so funny and sweet. We watch it every year after we put up our Christmas Tree. I love it. It is heart warming. Bryony is my favourite character, I think at Christmas we all need a wrapping elf who can wrap anything with 3 pieces of sticky tape. 

5) Molly's Game

I recently watched this movie again and I love it. Based upon a true story, the life of Molly Bloom. Jessica Chastain is amazing as Molly.  It is really well produced and edited. An amazing story. Idris Alba is also good. 

I love the clothes and shoes Molly wears in the movie. One of my favourite scenes is where she trades her $800 Chanel gloves for Ice Skates. 

6) Avengers Endgame

This movie is just amazing. It is so clever, funny, sad and heart-warming. I don't feel I can put in to words how good it is. Steve Rodgers is my favourite Avenger. The scene where he lifts Thor's Hammer because he is worthy is incredible. My heart has still not recovered from him going back to be with Peggy. 

I love how they tie in other marvel movies, it is just so clever and such a beautiful movie. I love it 3000. 

7) Captain America: The Winter Solider 

I love this Captain America Movie, it is inspiring, funny, and dramatic. It has so many great scenes. I love Steve Rodgers. Samuel L Jackson is so good in this movie too. I just really love it, especially Steve's speech about the price of  freedom. 

8) High School Musical Trilogy

I love the High School Musical movies, I remember watching them and just falling in love with them. I love Troy & Gabriella.  I also love Sharpay's wardrobe and all that pink. 

9) Just Married

I love this movie, it is so funny. I can hear my mum's laugh the first time we watched it together. I love the scene where they destroy the hotel. I really like the style of the movie as well. 

10) Ocean's Thirteen 

I love all the Ocean's Trilogy, but I specifically picked this one because I really like George Clooney's, Brad Pitt's and Matt Damon's established characters. I also love Andy Garcia's role in the heist. George Clooney is so cool in the movie. I love all the main characters and how they link it back to the first two movies. 

I have not included any James Bond movies on this list simply because I could not pick which one I like the most. My favourites are Spectre, Skyfall, Die Another Day and  A View to Kill. I simply could not pick between them. The same goes for the Mission Impossible movies, I love them all, especially 4, 5 & 6, these 3 are so interlinked I felt I could not separate them.
