My Hair Care Routine

   Hi, 

Today I thought I would share my hair care routine. I have naturally curly, frizzy hair and I suffer from dandruff. My routine does not work 100% but has definitely improved the quality of my hair. 

I wash my hair nearly everyday, I do this simply because it makes my hair more manageable. Once my hair has dried if I brush it, it just goes frizzy. I generally wash my hair at night because it really helps me relax. I also plait my hair every night, this really helps make it more manageable and stops it getting very knotty.  I have also bought a satin pillowcase and satin scrunchies to help protect my hair. 

The Products I Use: 

Shampoo- I use Superdrug's Trichology Revitalising Scalp Shampoo. I have just started using this and so far I have been really impressed. My scalp already feels a lot better. Previously I had been using Head and Shoulders, but I was still suffering from lots of dandruff and an itching scalp. Superdrug's Trichology I have found to be much more effective in just the short time that I have been using it. Furthermore, it is vegan and cruelty free. I have been struggling for quiet a while to find an affordable vegan and cruelty free shampoo.

Conditioner- I have been using Superdrug's Trichology Intensive Scalp Conditioner. Using this conditioner with the shampoo has really been effective. 

L'Oréal Elvive Hair Extraordinary Oil- This stuff is amazing. It makes such a difference to my hair, it really makes my hair more manageable and really stops my hair being frizzy. I highly recommend it. 

Satin Scrunchies- Kitsch Satin Sleep Scrunchies  I have been using this since Christmas and I really like them, however I haven't really noticed that using them has caused less breakages. I have them in pink and black. 

Satin Pillowcase- Kitsch Satin Pillowcase Similarly with the satin scrunchies, I have not noticed that it has really made a difference to my hair. I am not sure whether I would buy it again but it is really comfortable to sleep on. 

Tangle Teezer- I use the Tangle Teezer Thick and Curly Detangling Hairbrush Dusty Pink. This is the most amazing brush. It makes brushing my hair so easy. My hair can get really knotty sometimes and this brush makes such a difference. I highly recommend it.
