6 things that help me relax

Today I thought I share my 6 top things that help me relax, help me feel better and helps me keep my anxiety in check.
1) Make a To- Do List
This always make me feel better. I always make a to-do list in the morning or the night before of everything I want to do. I do mine on pen and pepper so I can just cross it off when I have done it.
When I make a to-do list it always stops my mind from going to over-gear, I can write it down and just stop thinking about it.
I sometimes use my diary/Filofax to make the list but normally I just make the list on a random scrap piece of paper and then throw it away afterwards.
2) Soak Feet
I love soaking my feet I try and do it once a week. It helps me relax, it is soothing. It helps me feet feel better. I soak them for about 20 mins in front of the TV and it just feels so peaceful.
I love using Kind natured Nourishing Foot Soak or Sunday Rain's Charcoal Foot Soak. I alternate between both just because I love both of them and I feel they both different things to look after my feet.
I just use an old plastic box to soak them, but you can use anything. This helps me feel better.
3) Do my nails
I love doing my nails. It always make feel better and put together. There is something very therapeutic about getting your nails. My two favourite colours are Barry M's Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint Black Forest and Barry M's Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint Candy Floss I love these two, they are the two that will match most of my outfits. I use Barry M Green Origin top coat which I really like as well, I have been very impressed with it my nails have lasted 5 days with no chips even after hours of cleaning.
4) Clean
I love cleaning, it always make me feel better. It always make me feel relaxed. It is therapeutic and I looking at the end result. It is something I really enjoyed during lockdown.
5) Shower
A shower always helps me relax. I love every evening washing the day away and then getting all cosy on the sofa under a duvet. It always helps me feet better. It is a get way to unwind in the evening
6) Get dressed and do my Make Up
This is a big one for my mental health. It always me feel put together and prepared for the day. It just makes the day so much better. I can always feel better. It just makes the day flow better.
